Bay Shore School Budget Results Are In

Bay Shore residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Bay Shore residents approved the district’s $151.9 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 1,407-427.

The budget represents a 1.39 percent spending increase over the current year.

In the vote for Bay Shore Board of Education members, incumbents Lou Bettinelli and Guy Leggio both defeated challengers Scott Berlin James Notaro and Michael Ruggiere for the two open seats.
