Bay Shore Students Kick Off 2016-17 School Year
Students from Pre-K to High School started their first day of school this week.
Students in the Bay Shore School District kicked off the 2016-2017 school year with the first day of school on Wednesday.
From the Universal Pre-K classrooms through Bay Shore High School, there were smiles all around. Students settled in to their classrooms, learned how to use their lockers, met their teachers and started learning.
According to Superintendent Joseph Bond, this year the district will begin working on the dedicated Universal Pre-Kindergarten facility at the Armory, continuing the laptop pilot program in the High School Humanities program and expanding our Family Engagement program for English-learner families.
