New Bar To Open In Bay Shore Soon
The Tap Room is expecting to open its third location sometime this summer.

BAY SHORE, NY - The Long Island-based Tap Room will be expanding to its third location in Bay Shore soon.
Owners James Bonanno, David Johnson, Kevin Boyle, and Mike Nicholson plan to open the new bar on 44-46 E. Main Street sometime next month. The space was briefly home to Big Daddy's East, which announced its closure in April after less than a year in business.
The new business will be offering the same menu as the other two bars. The menu includes a selection of craft beers as well as typical bar foods such as sliders, wraps and more. In addition, the owners are excited to bring the same specials such as $5 mussels, trivia nights and burger nights.

"We've been on the hunt for a little bit now looking for the perfect spot," Bonanno told Patch. "It's an awesome, thriving community."
The new two-floor space is slightly bigger than the other two Tap Rooms at 5,700-square-feet. The upper floor will be used for catering.
"It's beautiful space, it was built not too long ago," Bonanno said.
An exact opening date has not yet been announced but the owners are aiming to open next month.
In the meantime, they are waiting on a liquor license and hiring staff.
"We look forward to getting more involved in the local community," Bonanno said.
