Officials To Pave Bay Shore LIRR Parking Lot This Weekend

BAY SHORE, NY - Town of Islip officials will be paving the North parking lot of the LIRR station in Bay Shore this weekend.

Last Sunday, officials began work to pave the South parking lot of the station and this Sunday will return to pave the North parking lot, weather permitting.

Signs have been posted and flyers have been distributed to commuters, advising all of the long-awaited paving of the parking lots.

Residents are advised to use the North parking lot for their travel plans during this time. The South parking lot will re-open prior to the Monday morning commute.

Any vehicles left inside the North parking lot after midnight Saturday night will be moved to the South parking lot for pick-up.

Residents are advised to park in the South and Northwest lots.

The North parking lot will re-open in advance of the Monday, November 13 commute.
