The New York Lottery announced that two top prize winning tickets for Wednesday's Take 5 drawing were sold on Long Island.
One winning ticket was purchased in Plainview at Applegreen North East on 797 Old Country Road. A second winning ticket was purchased in East Islip at the East Islip Card and Gift on 64 East Main Street.

Both tickets were worth $34,984.
In addition, 201 players each purchased winning tickets worth $522 by matching four out of five numbers for the drawing. In total, there were 84,834 TAKE 5 winners for the August 31 drawing.

The winning numbers for the August 31 TAKE 5 drawing were 15-29-32-37-38.
Tickets can be claimed at any one of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Long Island office at 45 South Service Road, Plainview, NY 11803 or at Resorts World Casino New York City, 110-00 Rockaway Blvd., Jamaica, NY 11420.
