Volunteers Help Build Wheelchair Ramp For Disabled Woman
"Everyone was hard at work either building the wheelchair ramp or installing grab bars," said Stella Hendrickson.

From PSEG:A group of PSEG Long Island employee volunteers left the office for the day to construct a handicapped-accessible ramp for a physically-challenged Bay Shore woman. Mrs. “H,” who is legally blind, is a new wheelchair user and needed a ramp to get in and out of her home.
Through Rebuilding Together Long Island (RTLI), the PSEG Long Island volunteers spent the day providing Mrs. “H” with the access she needed by constructing a ramp to the front of her home.
“Throughout the year, our employees are involved in a variety of community service projects that vary from builds to walks to fundraisers,” said Daniel Eichhorn, president and COO, PSEG Long Island. “I’m so proud when a local group calls on us, and our employees raise their hands to help their neighbors in need.”
