WATCH: Local Administrators Poke Fun at Governor Cuomo, Common Core During Musical Number
The administrators and teachers had some fun belting out a rendition of "Summer Nights" from the musical Grease.
Bay Shore teachers and administrators kicked off this school year with a little musical number poking fun at Common Core and Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
At this year's Superintendent's Conference Day on Tuesday, the staff performed a rendition of "Summer Nights" from the musical Grease, changing the lyrics to make fun of both Cuomo and the controversial Common Core curriculum.
High school principal Rob Paskin and middle school principal Laquita Outlaw were among those to belt out the tune with lyrics including, "Common Core, Common Core, Cuomo isn't our friend, Common Core, Common Core, when will his second term end?"
