80-Year-Old Woman Killed In Douglaston Crash, Police Say
A car crash in Douglaston killed one pedestrian and injured another.

DOUGLASTON, NY – An 80-year-old woman was killed and an 84-year-old man hurt when they were hit by a car in Douglaston Tuesday evening, police said.
The driver, 42, was making a left turn off of 63rd Ave. and onto 251st Street at 6:06 p.m. when she struck the two pedestrians, cops said. Both were taken to North Shore University Hospital, where the woman, Xui Xi Pu, who lived nearby, was pronounced dead.
The second pedestrian is in stable condition with a left leg injury.
