The Bayside Historical Society presents "Moon and Bloom," a group exhibition featuring four New York–based artists — Beautiful_Soul, Jiae Kim, Dani Song, and Makoto Kishino — whose work draws on the enduring symbolism of the moon and the natural world, central motifs in East Asian art.

Spanning painting, textile, and mixed media, the show gathers luminous moon jars, Korean folk painting (minhwa), shifting indigo textiles, and mixed-media "ecliptic moon" works into a quiet, contemplative garden where the cycles of nature and human imagination converge.

Experience these works up close and meet one of the featured artists at The Castle in Fort Totten during the exhibition's two-week run this summer.
