Elderly Woman Disappears From Bayside Hotel Mid-Day, Police Say
A 74-year-old Little Neck resident disappeared from a Bayside hotel on Monday. As of Wednesday morning she is still missing, cops said.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Police are searching for an elderly woman who they say went missing from a Bayside hotel in the middle of the day on Monday.
Sonia Burgher, 74, was last seen around 12:15 p.m. Monday Aug. 9 leaving the Anchor Inn, a hotel located at 215-34 Northern Boulevard in Bayside, said the NYPD.
Burgher, who lives in Little Neck, was still missing as of Wednesday morning, police reported.

She was described by the NYPD as 5-feet tall and 135 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark colored skirt, and carrying a green suitcase.
Burgher walks with a cane, the police said.
