Man Dies After Jumping Into Water At Bayside Marina
An unidentified man was pronounced dead after he jumped into Little Neck Bay early Thursday.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A man died after jumping into the water at Bayside Marina early Thursday morning.
Just after 6 a.m., eyewitnesses saw the unidentified man jump into Little Neck Bay Cross at Island Parkway and 28th Avenue, police said. The NYPD's emergency service unit dove in and rescued him.
He was rushed to Flushing Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The man's identity has not been released. His body was transferred to the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death, QNS.com reported.
