Motorcyclist In NE Queens Killed After Crashing Into Fire Hydrant

HOLLISWOOD, QUEENS — A motorcyclist died Sunday evening in Holliswood after losing control and crashing into a fire hydrant, according to police.

Pennsylvania resident Tineisha Howard was riding a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle along Francis Lewis Boulevard when she lost control and crashed into a hydrant near the intersection of Epsom Course, just south of Cunningham Park, police said.

EMS found Howard, 42, unconscious and unresponsive and rushed her to North Shore Hospital - Manhasset, where she died.
