Second Suspect Arrested For Bayside Burglaries, Police Say

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Police arrested a Bronx man for a string of Bayside apartment robberies, two days after arresting his alleged accomplice.

Detectives on Tuesday arrested Throgs Neck resident Alfredo Arroyo, 42, on two burglary charges for two apartment robberies on Feb. 1 in Bayside, Queens. Police previously arrested 41-year-old Jennifer Rodriguez for the same two robberies, charging her with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property.

On Feb. 1 about 2 p.m., a man broke into two apartments at 200th Street and 32nd Avenue in Bayside by forcing open the doors, according to police. In the first apartment, he stole an orange Dior purse with $800 inside, police said. In the second apartment, he stole an Xbox One, blue Adidas backpack, black duffle bag and a ring worth about $1,680.

The man and a woman fled the scene in a black BMW four-door sedan, according to police.
