$1K Bed-Stuy Apartments Hit NYC Housing Lottery
Nine apartments that cost less than $1,000 per month will be up for grabs until Jan. 26.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Nine one-bedroom apartments that go for less than $1,000 per month hit the city’s housing lottery on Thursday, records show.
The six-story building at 869 Park Ave. near Marcus Garvey Boulevard will have nine newly constructed one-bedroom apartments up for grabs until the lottery closes on Jan. 26, according to a new listing on the NYC Housing Connect website.
Each apartment costs $985 per month and will available to a single person earning between $33,772 and $40,080 per year or two people earning between $ 33,772 and $45,840 in total.

The building boasts an elevator, fitness center and laundry room, though tenants might have to pay an extra fee to access them.
Apartments are a five minute walk from the Flushing Avenue J, M and Z station.
