28-Year-Old Shot Dead In Bed-Stuy: Cops

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 28-year-old was shot and killed Wednesday in front of an apartment building on Herkimer Street, police said.

The 28-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his body just after 9:30 p.m. in front of the Herkimer Street building, which is between Hunterfly Place and Rochester Avenue, cops said.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

There were no arrests as of Wednesday night.

The shooting was one of at least two in Brooklyn on Wednesday. Six people were also shot in Prospect Lefferts Gardens just an hour after the Bed-Stuy shooting. One of those victims, a 23-year-old man, was pronounced dead, police said.
