2nd Suspect Charged In Fatal Lafayette Gardens Shooting: Cops
A 21-year-old was charged with murder on Monday in the September shooting, which killed Tylee Felder and injured two others.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Cops have officially charged the second of two suspects in a fatal September shooting at the Lafayette Gardens Houses.
Police arrested Wydeem Rudd, 21, on Monday in the gang-related shooting, which erupted in broad daylight outside the Dekalb Avenue complex on Sept. 8 and killed 24-year-old Tylee Felder. Two other two men — a 24-year-old who was shot in the chest and a 23-year-old who was shot in the leg — were injured in the shooting.
Rudd is the second of two shooters police had searched for after the killing. The other suspect, Alexander Williams, 24, was arrested shortly before the New Year.

It was later revealed that Williams and Rudd's arrests were part of a larger gang takedown the NYPD and Brooklyn District Attorney had been pursuing for years.
Rudd and Williams — incorrectly, according to prosecutors — believed Felder had been involved in a previous shooting when they opened fire on him, prosecutors said. He was shot six times, including once in the head.

The gang indictments, announced in January, charged 19 members of the "900 street gang," which run various crews throughout Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights and were responsible for at least 13 acts of violence in the last year, including two murders, officials said.
