34-Year-Old Dies After Daylight Shooting In Bed-Stuy: Cops

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 34-year-old man was killed in a daylight shooting in Bed-Stuy on Wednesday, according to police.

Demetrius Riggins, who lived in Coney Island, was found with two gunshot wounds on Lexington Avenue near Nostrand Avenue just after 11 a.m., police said. He had been shot in the left leg and his torso, according to police.

Riggins was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

There were no arrests as of Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
