Man Dies After Being Shot In Head In Bed-Stuy, NYPD Says

No arrests had been made in the shooting, police said Tuesday.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 43-year-old man was killed Monday night after being shot in the head in behind the Sumner Houses in Bed-Stuy, police said.

Police received a 911 report of the shooting at 7:35 p.m. Monday and arrived on the scene to find the man.

The victim was transported to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced dead. There have been no arrests made and the shooting remains under investigation. The identity of the man is being withheld pending notification of his family.
