84-Year-Old Attacked And Robbed In Brooklyn Burger King: NYPD
A panhandler asked an elderly man for change, then stole all his money and knocked him to the ground, said police.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — An 84-year-old man was shoved to the ground and robbed by the panhandler he was about to give money to, said police.
The mugger asked the elderly man for spare change inside a Burger King on Fulton Street and Nostrand Avenue around 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, said police.
But when the 84-year-old took out his wallet, the man grabbed the $300 inside it and knocked his victim to the floor, police said.

Police released photos of the attacker — whom they describe as a man in his early 40s standing about 5-foot-8 and weighing about 180 pounds — on Thursday.
The would-be panhandler was last seen wearing a Chicago Bulls baseball cap, black coat, jeans and glasses, said police.

The elderly man he attacked was not injured during the mugging, police said.
