91-Year-Old Dies in Bed-Stuy Home Invasion, 100-Year-Old Wife Tied Up: NYPD
Waldiman Thompson and his 100-year-old wife were tied up by robbers who broke into their Decatur Street home, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A 91-year-old man died after four robbers shoved their way into his home and tied him up on Wednesday, NYPD officials said.
Waldiman Thompson and his 100-year-old wife were tied up inside the couple's home at 160 Decatur St. by four men who broke in at about 3:30 p.m, police said.
Thompson’s wife escaped from her ties, called 911 and told officials her husband was still trapped inside the house, police said.

Police officers rushed to the house near Marcus Garvey Boulevard where they found her Thompson lying unconscious on the floor, said Deputy Chief Michael Kemper in a statement.
Thompson was rushed to Interfaith Hospital but doctors were unable to save his life, police said.

His wife was treated by emergency responders for rope burn marks on her legs, then taken to an area hospital, said police.
Police are now looking for the four suspects who broke into the home and the investigation remains ongoing.
