Armed Driver Demands $400 Cash After Minor Accident In Bed-Stuy, Police Say
Instead of asking for insurance information, police say a driver pointed a gun at the other man involved in the accident and demanded cash.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A man caught in a car accident didn’t ask for the other driver’s insurance information, he whipped out a gun and demanded cash, according to police.
Two drivers began to argue near the corner of Rockaway Avenue and Marion Street around 8:15 p.m. on Aug. 12, after a minor collision, police said.
One of the drivers ended the argument by pulling out a gun and demanding the other 56-year-old driver give him cash to pay for the damages, said police.
