Baby Girl Died In Bed-Stuy Monday Morning, Police Say
A baby girl was found unconscious in her Madison Street home Monday morning, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A one-month-old baby girl died in Bedford Stuyvesant Monday morning, police said.
The infant was found unconscious in her home on Madison Street near Marcus Garvey Boulevard around 9:30 a.m. Monday, according to police.
The mother told emergency responders that she had slept with her baby and awoke to find the girl unresponsive, sources said.

The little girl, who did not appear to have experienced any trauma, was rushed to Woodhull Hospital where she was pronounced dead, said police.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death during an autopsy on Tuesday and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
