Bed-Stuy Apartment Building Three-Alarm Fire Under Investigation

The fire, which was under control by 12:30 a.m. Monday, required 138 firefighters. One resident sustained minor injuries.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Fire marshals are investigating a three-alarm fire Sunday night that caused minor injuries to a civilian, damaged to an apartment building and required 138 firefighters, FDNY reported on Monday.

Firefighters were called to the blaze in the top of a four-story apartment building at 585 Quincy Street at 10:25 p.m, FDNY reported.

The blaze drew 33 units, according to a fire department spokesman and was under control by 12:30 a.m.
