Bed-Stuy Burglar Hauls Computers And Checks Away In Shopping Cart, Police Say
The suspect used his cart to steal computers and checks from a real estate office on Tompkins Avenue earlier this month.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the man who broke into a Brooklyn realty company with a shopping cart, which he filled with computers and checks then carted away.
The suspect pushed his shopping cart into the real estate offices at 188 Tompkins Ave. around 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, police said.
He then loaded four computers, three computer screens, one scanner and an unknown number of deposited checks into his cart and fled, police said.

Surveillance cameras caught images of the suspect, whom police describe as a man in his twenties wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts, black sneakers and a black baseball hat.
