Bed-Stuy Delivery Boy Beat Up For Refusing Counterfeit Cash: Cops
A man punched and threw food at a 15-year-old delivery boy who wouldn't take his counterfeit money, police said.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A man who tried to pay for food with counterfeit money in Bed-Stuy last month beat up the delivery boy when he wouldn't take the fake cash, police said.
The 15-year-old delivery boy was bringing food to an apartment building at 919 Myrtle Ave. around 3:45 p.m. on June 22 when the man handed him counterfeit money, police said.
When the delivery worker refused the fake cash, the man snatched the food and tried to walk away, cops said.

The delivery boy tried following the man, who started throwing food at the teenager. He then punched the delivery boy repeatedly before running into the building, police said.
The 15-year-old was treated for lacerations to his face by emergency responders.
