Bed-Stuy Groper Grabs Woman After She Gives Him Change, Cops Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- Police are looking for the man who begged for change then stalked and groped the woman who gave it to him.

The 26-year-old woman emptied her pockets for the man on Kingston Avenue near Herkimer Street at about 6:10 p.m. on Dec. 23rd, police said.

The woman tried to walk away, but the man followed, tried to start a conversation, than grabbed her from behind and fled, said police.

Police are now looking for a man in his early 20s who stands about 5-foot 11-inches tall, weighs about 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a black cap, a black coat, a blue jacket, black sweatpants, white sneakers and a black backpack.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police.
