Bed-Stuy Shooting Leaves 1 Injured, Police Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- A person was shot on a Bed-Stuy street corner in broad daylight, officials said.

The unidentified person was shot on the corner of Lewis Avenue and Macon Street at about 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, said police.

An FDNY spokesman confirmed emergency responders had arrived at the scene but could not provide more information about the victim's status.
