Pre-Passover Kosher Wine Tasting

Passover is on the way, and we're ready - Kosher Wine Tasting Event coming up next Monday at Breukelen Cellars.

Well, Passover is on its way, and the Jewish community of North Crown Heights/Bed-Stuy is gearing up for it. Prominent amongst the rituals of the festival are the four cups of wine that are drunk at the Seder table. So, to make sure our palletes are ready for that, we're doing a wine tasting together with our good friends at Breukelen Cellars on Nostrand Ave.

John and Andre of Breukelen Cellars are graciously hosting the event, and are putting out their best Kosher wines to taste - we all thank them for that. The days of syrupy-sweet "sacramental wine" are behind us, and the Kosher wine market has boomed since; trusting their good taste, there will surely be fabulous wines to taste. While tasting the Kosher wine and getting the Passover feel, there will be a chance to reflect the messages of the holiday with the Rabbi.

The Wine Tasting will be on Monday, April 2 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Breukelen Cellars is located 504 Nostrand Ave. (between Macon St. and Halsey St.). You can RSVP right here
