the hood heatin up

Did anyone else hear the gunshots fired about 7pm last night (6/19) off of dekalb and franklin/classon/projects? I live right there and wondered if anyone knows the scoop. also Sunday at about 3 or 4am someone was injured by gunshot outside Brooklyn Nights, which has drawn certain rough crowds for years. I know it's summer, so it feels like it's worse than usual, but the energy around here is tense. I've been here 6 years, no I'm not a native, yes I am a translpant, and I love the neighborhood and care about your and my safety. We need to pull together as a community folks! What can we do?
