Neighborhoods: Prospect Heights
What: Brooklyn authors and illustrators will present an array of storybooks, picture books, poetry, graphic novels, and fiction and nonfiction books for kids of all ages.

Quilt Show: A Trip Around the World
What: The Prospect Park Alliance presents the work of The Brooklyn Quilters' Guild. This year’s theme is a “A Trip Around the World.” Attendees can make their own paper quilts.

When: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday
Vanishing New York: Book Talk & Lunch with Park Deli
What: The Sunview hosts a book talk and pierogi lunch with Jeremiah Moss, author of "Vanishing New York: How A Great City Lost Its Soul," The pay-what-you-will lunch will benefit the Park Deli's, which is being forced to relocate.

"The Godfather" Marathon
What: Watch the series that vaulted Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and the phrase, “I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse” into stardom.

Hattie Carthan 2017 Communal Dinner
