American Field Pop-Up At Industry City

Neighborhood: Sunset Park

What: This two-day public pop up market and trade show will offer up the work of American artisans. There will also be musical performance, demonstrations, and snacks.

When: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday


Eleventh Annual Brooklyn Children's Book Fair

Neighborhoods: Prospect Heights

What: Brooklyn authors and illustrators will present an array of storybooks, picture books, poetry, graphic novels, and fiction and nonfiction books for kids of all ages.

Where: Brooklyn Museum at 200 Eastern Parkway

When: 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday


Quilt Show: A Trip Around the World

Neighborhood: Prospect Park

What: The Prospect Park Alliance presents the work of The Brooklyn Quilters' Guild. This year’s theme is a “A Trip Around the World.” Attendees can make their own paper quilts.

Where: Lefferts Historic House at 452 Flatbush Ave.

When: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday


Vanishing New York: Book Talk & Lunch with Park Deli

Neighborhood: Greenepoint

What: The Sunview hosts a book talk and pierogi lunch with Jeremiah Moss, author of "Vanishing New York: How A Great City Lost Its Soul," The pay-what-you-will lunch will benefit the Park Deli's, which is being forced to relocate.

Where: Sunview Lunchnet at 221 Nassau Ave.

When: 2 p.m. Saturday


"The Godfather" Marathon

Neighborhood: Bushwick

What: Watch the series that vaulted Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and the phrase, “I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse” into stardom.

Where: Syndicated Bar at 40 Bogart St.

When: 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday


Hattie Carthan 2017 Communal Dinner

Neighborhoods: Bedford-Stuyvesant

What: The farm celebrates the end of the season with a four-course meal with freshly baked bread, local wines and locally-sourced foods.

NYC Trash! Past, Present, & Future

Neighborhood: Williamsburg

What: City Reliquary celebrates its new exhibit on garbage with a brunch.

Where: City Reliquary at 370 Metropolitan Ave

Red Hook Open Studios

Neighborhood: Red Hook

What: Local Artists will open their doors to the public. The after-party at Pioneer Works Second Sunday’s.

NYC Cannabis Film Festival (2017)

Neighborhood: Williamsburg

What: The film series includes nine short films and two features about the comedy, drama, romance and horror of weed.
