Clothing Bins

How do you feel about the Clothing Bins taking up space on the corner of your block? Mysteriously, these Bins appeared on my block, two as a matter of fact. I understand that there are many needy families in need of gently used clothing, but I feel much better donating to Good Will, Salavation Army, or a local shelter. A few of my neighbors expressed their dislike as well a few of us have called 311. Bin removal is handled by the Department of Sanitation there's a form online or you can have one mailed to you. You fill mail to Department of Sanitation, once the form is received/handled the Bin will be tagged for removal, which will take about 30 days. I plan to attend the upcoming Community Board 3 BedStuy meeting to voice my opinion about this matter.
