BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- A Bed-Stuy man was arrested on murder charges Thursday more than a year after he allegedly shot his neighbor in the head, police said.

Nashaun Talley, 32, stands accused of murdering Curtis Rivers, 36, outside the Sumner Houses on Stuyvesant Avenue near Hart Street on Jan. 18, 2018, said police.

Talley, who lives in the Sumner Houses, shot Rivers in the head and body just before 10 p.m., police said.

Rivers, who lived at the nearby development at 303 Vernon Ave., was rushed to Woodhull Hospital where he died, said police.

Police declined to comment on the year-long investigation that led to Talley's arrest at noon Thursday.

Talley was arraigned on murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges in Brooklyn Criminal Court later that day and held without bail, court records show.
