Cops released photos this week of three men wanted for questioning in the stray-bullet shooting that killed 1-year-old Davell Gardner Jr.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Cops are searching for three men connected to the Bed-Stuy shooting that killed 1-year-old Davell Gardner Jr. and hurt three others.
The NYPD released photos and surveillance video Monday of three men who they say are wanted for questioning about the July 12 shooting. They did not say exactly how the men are connected to the incident, but asked for the public's help in identifying the three men.
Davell Jr. was at a cookout with his family near Raymond Bush Playground when two gunmen unloaded a hail of bullets on the gathering. One of the bullets hit Davell in the torso, and he later died from his injuries at the hospital, according to police.

Three other men — ages 36, 35 and 27 — were shot at the cookout and were taken to area hospitals with injuries, police said.
The shooting prompted a "Stop the Violence" family day and town hall at the park to call for an end to an ongoing citywide shooting surge.
