BrownstoneJAZZ Women's History Month Presents Singer Eve Cornelious

               Yea!!! IT'S A BIRTHDAY PARTY  During, Women in History Month    Come Celebrate The Birth of       "Miss Debbie Mc" Co-Founder and Producer, Director                      of        BrownstoneJAZZ                      acoustic sound livingroom concerts         Presenting  Singer           Eve Cornelious Musical DirectorERIC LEMON-Bass,Co-Founder             DAVE GIBSON-Drummer                      CARLTON HOLMES-Pianist  Eve Cornelious has enjoyed a remarkable career, touring Europe, Japan, and Cuba with Roy Hargrove, Jon Hendricks, Chucho Valdez, Mulgrew Miller, Carl Allen, Rodney Whitaker, Mark Whitfield, and Tim Warfield. She has peformed to critical acclaim at festivals around the world, including North Sea, Monterey, Montreaux, Newport, Middleheim, and the JVC Jazz Festival at Lincoln Center. She has recorded with Norman Conners and Ramsey Lewis. Currently the jazz vocal teacher at East Carolina University, Eve's education in music spans both the formal and the personal, with a degree in music to supplement her careful transcription work of vocal giants Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae and Billie Holiday. Born in Newark, NJ and raised in Newport News, VA, Eve feels a special kinship with Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, who came from those two towns respectively.
