Come and experience a remarkable and powerful performance by Bed-Stuy's young, talented theatre treasure. With lyrical richness, "Joe Turner" depicts the struggles of African Americans affected by the period of Reconstruction. They arrive searching for their song, carrying bibles and guitars, their pockets lined with dust and fresh hope. Directed by Kenthedo Robinson. Special school invitation on Feb. 8 at 10am, students $5.00, chaperones free; special performance for seniors on Feb. 9 at 10am - only $1.00. Sat., Feb. 11 at 2pm and 6pm.
