Fashion-Forward Burglar Robs Bed-Stuy Boutiques Of Clothes And Jewelry, Police Say
The clothes horse suspect stole 100 articles of clothing from Fouta Toro and jewelry and perfume from the Something Different Boutique.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a fashion-forward thief who has stolen 100 pieces of clothing, jewelry and perfume from Bedford Stuyvesant boutiques.
The clothes horse suspect stole 100 articles of clothing from Fouta Toro at 483B Nostrand Ave. on the night of April 4 and then nabbed jewelry, perfume and $70 in cash from the Something Different Boutique at 1085 Fulton St. on the night of April 8, police said.
The suspect, whom police describe a man dressed in black, is also suspected of breaking into Franklin Income Tax on 493 Franklin Avenue on April 3 around 2:30 a.m. and stealing two laptops and cash, according to police.

Video surveillance cameras captured footage of the man browsing in an office, trying out one of the chairs, tucking his merchandise under his arm and walking away.
