He failed twice during three attempts to get a door open, police said.
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for an unskilled burglar who attempted to rob three homes but was only able to break into one.
The burglar first failed to pry his way into an apartment on Jefferson Avenue between Nostrand and Bedford avenues around 8:45 a.m. on April 13, police said.
A day later, the suspect — armed with a crowbar — returned to another Jefferson Avenue home near Putnam Avenue around 5 a.m., but once again was not able to get past the front door, said police.

A video surveillance camera captured footage of the suspect — whom police describe as a man in his 30s standing 5-foot-10 and weighing about 160 pounds — ambling through the supply room.
