Man Found Dead After Bed-Stuy Fire, Police Say

Police have not yet identified the man found dead after a fire in a Chauncey Street home on Saturday.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A man was found dead in a Bed-Stuy home ravaged by fire on Saturday, according to police.

Firefighters found the body inside an three-story building on Chauncey Street and Thomas S. Boyland streets around 9:30 a.m., police said.

The residential building did not have any tenants, according to the FDNY.

Investigators had not identified the man as of Monday morning, police said.
