Man In Rolling Stones Shirt Robbed Same Woman Twice In Two Weeks, Police Say

Police released pictures of a man wanted for stealing about $6,000 from a Bed-Stuy woman in her home.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Police have released images of a man who violently robbed the same woman twice in less than two weeks and made off with about $6,000.

The 33-year-old woman was first robbed in her home near Throop Avenue and Hopkins Street on Jan. 27th at around 5 p.m. after she let two men into the building and opened her apartment door to them, police said.

The two men punched her in the face, knocked her to the ground, pulled out a knife and demanded she hand over her jewelry and about $2,600 in cash, which they grabbed before fleeing the building, said police.

This time, the burglars grabbed $3,000 in cash, a cellphone and a credit card, which they used to to withdraw $300 from an ATM inside Sam’s Deli and Grocery at 214 Central Ave. in Bushwick, according to police.
