Man Shot Dead in Bed-Stuy Home, Police Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A man was fatally shot in Bed-Stuy early Saturday morning, said police.

Emergency responders found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his chest inside 681 Decatur St. at about 7:45 a.m., police said.

The unconscious man was rushed to Brookdale Hospital but doctors were unable to save his life, said police.

The man’s name had not been released and no arrests had been made as of Monday morning, according to police.
