Man Shot Dead Outside Bed-Stuy Housing, Police Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- One man was shot dead and another wounded outside the Marcy Houses early Tuesday morning, police said.

Two men, ages 36 and 45, were shot in front on Park Avenue between Nostrand and Marcy avenues at about 4 a.m., said police.

Emergency responders rushed the unconscious 45-year-old, who had been shot in the chest, to Woodhull Hospital but doctors could not save his life, police said.

The 36-year-old was treated for a graze wound on his wrist at the scene, said police.

No arrests had been made and the victim's name had not been released as of 8:45 a.m., police said.
