Motorcyclist Fatally Struck By Friend's Motorcycle On Atlantic Ave., Police Say
Nathan Johnson crashed and fell into the path of his friend, who had been motorcycling next to him early Sunday morning, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A Queens man was killed when he was thrown from his motorcycle and run over by the friend who had been motorcycling alongside him Sunday morning, police said.
Nathan Johnson, 35, was driving his 2003 Honda CRB east on Atlantic Avenue around midnight when he sped in front of his 31-year-old friend and crashed into a column supporting the elevated subway tracks on Buffalo Avenue, police said.
Johnson was thrown from the bike and landed directly in the path of his friend’s 2017 Suzuki GSXR before his friend had time to stop, police said.

The Suzuki ran over Johnson then hit his Honda, which sent the friend’s 26-year-old passenger flying onto the pavement, police said.

Emergency responders rushed Johnson to Interfaith Medical Center but were unable to save his life, police said.
Johnson’s friend and the woman he’d been riding with were also taken to Interfaith with non-life threatening injuries, said police.
Johnson’s friend had not been charged with a crime by Monday morning, police said.
