Person Hit By Brooklyn C Train, Officials Say

Emergency responders rushed to the Kingston-Throop Avenues station where a person was hit by a train, officials said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- A person was hit by a C train at a Bed-Stuy subway station Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

The straphanger was struck by a northbound C train at the Kingston-Throop Avenues station at about 2 p.m., according to the FDNY and MTA.

Medics rushed to the Fulton Street station to help the person, who was reported to be in cardiac arrest on the train tracks, FDNY said.

More information about the person's condition was not immediately available, the FDNY spokesman said.

Northbound C trains ran express from Broadway Junction to Hoyt-Schermerhorn to as emergency responders worked to aid the wounded straphanger, said the MTA.
