Bed-Stuy Salon Offers Free Styling for Unemployed
Donna's Hair Salon will style your hair for free if you are out of work and looking for a job.

Deivin Jemmott, owner of Donna’s Hair Salon on Nostrand Ave. is offering free hairstyling for the unemployed – presumably so the out-of-work can look their best for a job interview – but since August, she’s only had five women take advantage of the deal, says the Daily News.
Jemmott offers the service on Mondays and Tuesdays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and says she offers “no judgements,” according to the report. Some regulars at the salon thought Jemmott's sign offering the free styling was too small, but she is hopeful that area job-seekers will take her up on the offer, says the News.
“If I can donate my time to help somebody, it’s worth it,” Jemmott told the paper.
