Brooklyn Special Ed Teacher Allegedly Smashed Student's Face Into Radiator, Police Say
Brooklyn teacher Sharon Roberts was charged with reckless endangerment of a child Wednesday, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A nine-year-old boy has accused his special education teacher of shoving his face into a radiator and cursing at him, police said.
Sharon Roberts, 40, allegedly screamed “Who the f— are you talking to?” at the boy before smashing his face into the heating device on July 7, police said.
Roberts — a special education teacher at P.S. 5 on Hancock Street in Bedford Stuyvesant and P.S. K369 on State Street in downtown Brooklyn — garnered media attention in December when she organized Christmas gifts for 100 of her lower income students, the Queens Courier reported.
