Taser-Armed Men Go On Brooklyn Robbery Spree, Police Say
The men used the weapon on people walking down the street in Bed-Stuy and Bushwick and a woman in a parked car, authorities said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A quite literally shocking robbery spree in Bed-Stuy and Bushwick continues to get police buzz.
NYPD released photos and video of men wanted for questioning about three robberies on Jan. 29 and an e-bike theft a few days later.
They all entered a bodega on Nostrand Avenue and Herkimer Street where at least one of them used a woman's stolen debit card, according to a release Thursday.

The first robbery took place at about 7:05 p.m. when the men walked up to a woman, 40, sitting in a parked car at Lawton Street and Bushwick Avenue, authorities said. They pulled out a Taser and used on it the woman, but she managed to drive away, police said.

Less than an hour later, the men walked up to a man, 29, on Hancock Street near Evergreen Avenue, police said. They threw the man on the ground and shocked him with the Taser while they took his book bag and ran off, authorities said.

The final robbery took place at 9:45 p.m. when a woman, 30, was followed by the men on Macdonough Street and Throop Avenue, according to a release. They pulled her to the ground, used the Taser on her and took her purse with a laptop and credit card inside, authorities said.

The final incident wasn't a robbery, but a theft. One of the men took an e-bike on Feb. 2 at about 10:15 p.m. while its owner was inside a McDonald's at Fulton Street and Throop Avenue, authorities said.
