Teen Shoots Man In Stomach On Bed-Stuy Street, Police Say

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- Police are looking for the gunman who shot a man in the stomach in broad daylight earlier this month.

Police released photos Thursday night of the teen they believe shot a man in the stomach on the corner of Jefferson and Tompkins avenues on Sunday, Aug. 5, at about 10:25 a.m., police said.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition, said police.

Police describe the suspect as a young man in his late teens and standing at about 5-foot 6-inches.
