Teen Shot By Men In Mercedes Benz, Police Say

A teen was shot in the back by two men in a Mercedes Benz outside the Sumner Houses Saturday afternoon, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for two men who shot a teenager in the back from a Mercedes Benz Saturday afternoon.

The silver sedan pulled up in front of the Sumner Houses at 979 Myrtle Ave. around 6:25 p.m. Saturday and fired into a crowd of people hanging out outside the building, police said.

The two men fired off at least four shots, one of which hit a 19-year-old as he tried to escape, said police.

The shooters sped away and emergency responders rushed the teenager to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Police released surveillance photos of the two suspects on Tuesday. One man wears a blue hoodie, silver pants and silver boots and the other can be seen in a red hoodie, blue hat, jeans and blue sneakers.
