Teenaged Girls Attack Woman At Bed-Stuy Bus Stop, Police Say

Police are looking for two teens whose brutal attack landed a 45-year-old woman in the hospital with injuries to her head.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for two young women who brutally beat another woman at a Bed-Stuy bus stop.

Two teenagers pounced on a 45-year-old woman near the B44 bus stop on Bedford Avenue and Halsey Street on March 14 at about 5 p.m., police said.

When an argument erupted, the young women punched and kicked their victim in the head then ran away down the street, police said.

Emergency responders rushed the 45-year-old to a nearby hospital where she was treated for her injuries, said police.

Police released photos and descriptions of the two teens Friday morning. Both are young women in their late teens with slim builds who stand just above five feet tall and were last seen wearing dark clothing.
