Video Shows Brutal Halloween Attack On Bed-Stuy Street Corner

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A disturbing video shows the moment a group of people chased down a man and beat him up on a Bed-Stuy street corner Halloween night.

Police released video late Monday of the attack, which happened around 9:30 p.m. near Mother Gaston Boulevard and Sumpter Street. The 38-year-old victim is chased down by a group of unidentified men who then kick and punch him as he lay on the ground, according to police and video.

The man suffered a large laceration to his face and was brought to Brookdale Hospital after the attack, police said.
